Sailing Race, the links is an original work by Pauline Larouche that evokes the precious links that are woven between generations, nature and shared memories.

Against a backdrop of seascape, sailboats glide on the water while the characters, depicted from behind, invite the viewer to imagine their story and feel this sweet complicity.

The richness of this painting lies in the combination of acrylic paint and art paper collage . The papers, with their varied colors, textures, and patterns, give a particular depth to the clothing, vegetation, and landscape.

The colorful ferns in the foreground bring an almost poetic dimension to the composition, while the shades of blue, turquoise, green and earth recall the beauty of the water's edge.
