Starting from reality to move towards the ideal…

Artistic approach

A Quebec painter since 1974, Pauline Larouche creates figurative, abstract, and mixed-media works. Her artistic process originates from a place, an encounter, a memory, or a very real emotion.

Through acrylics, textures, colors, and imagination, she transforms reality to reveal its essence and guide it towards the ideal. Her work explores the memory of places, human emotions, and the issues that affect her.

Each painting thus becomes a story to discover, an invitation to dialogue, contemplation and a different perspective on the world around us.
