Hortensia is an original work by Quebec painter Pauline Larouche , created with acrylic and mixed media on canvas. In this small 20 x 16 inch format, the artist explores the full richness of textures, contrasts, and relief to create an expressive and contemporary floral composition.

At the heart of this work, hydrangea blossoms unfold in a palette dominated by blues, mauves, and deep hues , punctuated by touches of light. The green leaves provide a natural contrast and lend the composition a beautiful sense of movement. The whole evokes a flower observed up close, almost like a fragment of a garden captured in a poetic moment.

Hortensia 's unique feature lies in the integration of tissue paper and gold powder into the paint itself. These elements add depth, texture, and light effects that are revealed differently depending on the lighting and viewing angle. The material thus becomes an essential part of the visual experience.

Its 20 x 16-inch square format makes it easy to integrate into various decors. Framed and ready to hang , this original painting can bring a refined artistic touch to a room without requiring a large wall space.

Hortensia will particularly appeal to lovers of contemporary floral painting, figurative abstract art, mixed media, and original Quebecois works . A unique creation by Pauline Larouche that brings character, texture, and poetry to your interior.
