Flowers and Butterflies is an original artwork by Quebec painter Pauline Larouche , created with acrylic and mixed media on canvas. Measuring 24 x 18 inches , this painting is ready to hang and instantly brings a warm and luminous presence to a living space.

Inspired by the generous beauty of my hibiscus, Flowers and Butterflies was born from a desire to preserve a little sunshine in the heart of cold winter days. Even when nature outside seems asleep, the hibiscus offers magnificent and colorful flowers that evoke warmth, tropical gardens, and memories of sun-drenched days.

In this arrangement, hibiscus flowers in shades of orange and red stand out against a backdrop of tropical foliage dominated by large monstera leaves. Shades of turquoise, green, and blue create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the flowers add touches of warmth and energy.

The mixed media technique and textured relief enrich the canvas surface and add depth to the composition. The relief attracts light and creates subtle changes depending on the viewing angle. The bluish butterflies add a poetic dimension to the work: they seem to flit across the scene in a delicate interplay of light and movement.

This contemporary tropical painting suits both modern and warmer or eclectic interiors. It can become the focal point of a living room, entryway, bedroom, or even a professional space looking to incorporate an artistic and colorful touch.

Flowers and Butterflies is a unique work, ideal for lovers of flowers, nature, butterflies, and original art. An invitation to bring a little light, movement, and tropical nature into your everyday life.
