The Visitor is an original work by Quebec painter Pauline Larouche , created with acrylic and mixed media on canvas. This small 8 x 8 inch composition invites the viewer into a plant world rich in textures, reliefs, and colors.

At the heart of the artwork, a magnificent turquoise butterfly appears to have alighted for a few moments on the lush foliage. Its delicate movement brings a sense of life and lightness to the composition. The contrast between the butterfly's luminous blue, the deep greens of the leaves, and the vibrant red of the flower creates a particularly dynamic visual balance.

The distinctive feature of "The Visitor" lies particularly in the integration of a raised hibiscus leaf , which adds a tactile and original dimension to the work. This material enriches the surface of the canvas and accentuates the mixed-media technique. The large monstera leaves form a verdant setting around the butterfly and the flower, creating the impression of a tropical garden.

This painting evokes a fleeting encounter with nature: a small winged visitor that stops, catches our attention, and may fly away a few seconds later. It reminds us of the beauty of the details we discover when we take the time to observe.

Signed by Pauline Larouche , this original artwork is framed and ready to hang . Its small size makes it easy to integrate into various decors, either alone or as part of a wall composition.
