Merci Véro is a work born from a beautiful story of friendship. During a Quebec winter, a friend traveling in Costa Rica sent me photos of vibrant tropical flowers. Inspired by these sun-drenched images, I created this composition that evokes the warmth, exoticism, and abundant beauty of tropical nature.

Against a turquoise backdrop reminiscent of a bright sky, majestic tropical leaves unfurl around magnificent red heliconia blossoms. Bamboo stalks add rhythm and verticality, while three delicate butterflies instill a sense of freedom and lightness. The contrasts between the deep greens of the foliage, the vibrant reds of the flowers, and the luminous blue of the background create a lively work that naturally draws the eye.
