Merci Véro is a work born from a beautiful story of friendship. During a Quebec winter, a friend traveling in Costa Rica sent me photos of vibrant tropical flowers. Inspired by these sun-drenched images, I created this composition that evokes the warmth, exoticism, and abundant beauty of tropical nature.
Against a turquoise backdrop reminiscent of a bright sky, majestic tropical leaves unfurl around magnificent red heliconia blossoms. Bamboo stalks add rhythm and verticality, while three delicate butterflies instill a sense of freedom and lightness. The contrasts between the deep greens of the foliage, the vibrant reds of the flowers, and the luminous blue of the background create a lively work that naturally draws the eye.
Created with acrylics and mixed media, this painting combines precise drawing, rich textures, and spontaneous brushstrokes. It invites escape and reminds us that beauty can reach us, even in the heart of winter. "Merci Véro" is a work from the Tropical Flower series that creates a luminous and soothing atmosphere. It evokes holidays, lush nature, and the small gestures of friendship that become a source of inspiration. Its harmonious colors make it an elegant focal point in a contemporary, classic, or eclectic interior.
This original work will appeal to lovers of contemporary floral art, tropical nature, and Quebec painting. Each canvas by Pauline Larouche is unique and entirely handmade in her studio.
