Created using mixed media acrylics on a 19 ¾-inch round canvas, this artwork was born from a happy accident. After a heavy snowstorm, the art papers already glued to the canvas had naturally created a relief reminiscent of a ski slope. These textures became the starting point for the entire composition.

The winter landscape unfolds beneath a luminous sky where shades of turquoise, aqua, green, and delicate pinks mingle. Mountains envelop the scene, while snow-covered fir trees create a peaceful forest. Red immediately draws the eye and provides a vibrant contrast to the whole.
